UCL Computer Science student receives prestigious £3000 award

Tim Qiu, a first-year Computer Science BSc student, has been awarded a distinguished UCL Faculty Undergraduate Scholarship for Excellence.
UCL Computer Science student, Tim Qiu, has received a highly-regarded faculty prize for outstanding academic achievement.
The UCL Faculty Undergraduate Scholarship for Excellence, valued at £3000, is given to a first-year student judged to have demonstrated the best overall academic performance across the whole of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.
On receiving the prize, Tim shares:
“I am very excited and grateful for receiving this fantastic scholarship. I look forward to making further progress in the future, academically and in other areas.”
Tim further advises fellow students wishing to emulate his fantastic achievement:
“Stay curious and diligent. Knowledge often requires initiative to discover and diligence to delve into. So whenever you learn something new, use your curiosity to explore related topics and use your diligence to dissect them from their principles. In this way, you will be able to gain a deeper grasp of knowledge.”
