Patrick joined the Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit as a Medical Statistician in 2018. He is working on projects including trials on arthritis (TARVA), autoimmune diseases (Beat-LUPUS), and depression in people with Parkinson’s disease (ADEPT-PD).
After completing an MSc in Medical Statistics at LSHTM in 2013, Patrick worked there for 4 years on geographic and temporal comparisons of cancer early diagnosis and survival. He has experience in the statistical modelling of clustered and partially missing data, and holds a postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCILT), also from the LSHTM. Prior to training as a medical statistician he worked as a data analyst for a charity and in the private sector.
