Postgraduate Open Evening

On Wednesday 29 November 2023 the Department of Greek and Latin at UCL will hold an open evening for anyone interested in doing a taught MA or PhD research with us.

  • In the Department of Greek and Latin (Gordon House WC1 0PP), and also hybrid on Zoom.

Maria Wyke (Director of our MA programmes) and Stephen Colvin (Director of the PhD programme) will be available for drop-in visits in Gordon House between 5:00 and 6:00 pm (either in person or on Zoom). From 6:00 to 7:00 pm we shall also hold an open evening in the Department and on Zoom for prospective MA and PhD applicants. There will be talks about postgraduate life in the Department and an opportunity for Q&A.

All are welcome to one or both of these events. If you have any queries please contact directly Maria Wyke for MA matters or Stephen Colvin for PhD matters.

  • At 6:00 pm there will be talks about postgraduate life in our UCL Classics community (Gordon House G-09 and on Zoom)
  • At 6:30 pm there will be an opportunity for discussion and Q&A with the MA and PhD Tutors (Gordon House G-09 and on Zoom)

  • You can register here to attend this event (and to get a Zoom link if you wish to attend online).
  • But feel free to drop in without registering.
  • You can use the Zoom link to talk to Maria or Stephen individually from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, and then for talks and Q&A 6:00 - 7:00pm
