A public discussion exploring family law in ancient Greece, Rome and Mesopotamia

Across the ancient world the law intervened in family life, to protect or to control. This panel discussion, involving experts in law in different civilizations, will be chaired by a distinguished modern legal expert, the Rt. Hon. Lord Wilson of Culworth (Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom). There will be an opportunity for questions and comments from the audience.
