Two years of the global pandemic seem to be aggravating the gaps and conflicts between race, class and cultures. The programme responds to the idea of “boundaries'' of different kinds: geographical borders, cultural barriers, national identity, as well as the definition of the documentary medium itself.
These films subvert the dominant gazes through granting us multiple coexisting points of view. For a second, the boundaries between cultures, politics or history are blurred in the screening space. Through this programme, the curators hope to bring alternative perspectives as well as the possibility of provoking discussions and dialogues
