25 June: Taught Graduate Programmes Open Evening and Data Science Programme Launch

13 May 2015

We are delighted to invite people interested in pursuing an education in health informatics or data science to an open evening on 25 June from 4:30pm at 222 Euston Road. This will be an informal event with an opportunity to meet staff and students and to learn more about the work of the Centre for Health Informatics and Multiprofessional Education, the UCL Institute for Health Informatics and the Farr Institute

The occasion will be the launch event for our new Graduate Programme in Data Science for Research in Health & Biomedicine. This exciting new programme will help to equip graduates for new careers dealing with Big Data in academia, healthcare organisations, pharmaceutical companies and consultancies. We are working closely with NHS, research and commercial partners to devise and deliver an innovative and practical programme that will give students real exposure to practical research in one of the top centres for data science in health and biomedicine.

We also run a successful Graduate Programme in Health Informatics, which is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in healthcare organisations in an information-rich society. This well established programme, delivered in association with the NHS, has produced over 300 graduates who have gone on to a variety of successful careers here and across the globe.
