We conduct cutting edge research into biological and social mechanisms underlying mental ill health and wellbeing. We are renowned for our world leading neuroscience research portfolio, including computational psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience and basic neuroscience methods. We also excel in social psychiatry and social sciences approaches that are critical for understanding the developmental course and experience of mental health problems.
