Welcome to the HOPE Study

HOPE stands for Health Outcomes for young People throughout Education. 

HOPE is a research study run by University College London in collaboration with the University of Cambridge and University of Exeter.

We are using the ECHILD database to find out if extra help in schools for children & young people with special educational needs or disability (SEND) improves their health.

HOPE aims to provide enduring public health benefits by translating methods and tools for ongoing evaluation, monitoring and improvement of SEND services for better health and wellbeing in children and young people.
