Programme content for the MSc Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
Our MSc is worth 180 credits, the structure is outlined below. It is also possible to take this programme as a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip), or a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert). The PGDip is worth 120 credits and follows the same structure as the MSc, without the 60 credit research project. Dissertation/report
All MSc students undertake an independent research project which culminates in a dissertation of 10,000 to 12,000 words.
Part-time study
For students undertaking the part-time route, 4 modules should be taken in year 1 and 4 plus the dissertation should be taken in year 2. In year 1, students must take 3 compulsory modules and choose 1 module from the list of optional modules. In year 2, students must take 2 compusory modules and the dissertation module and must choose 2 optional modules from list below.
