- First in-person Meeting of the Project Working Group - 19th and 20th June 2023, Milan, Italy
We are pleased to inform that the International Benchmarking of Childhood Cancer Survival by Stage, also known as BENCHISTA Project is holding its first in-person meeting of the Project Working Group (PWG) on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th June 2023.
The meeting will be held at the Aula Magna - Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori (INT) in Milan, Italy.
The meeting aims to gather the members of the PWG, including tumour-specific clinical experts and out parent and patient representatives, together with members of our Advisory Board, to hear and discuss the first results of the population-based data analyses, the strengths and limitations of their interpretation, and to plan further tumour-specific analyses according to availability of the non-stage prognostic factors and other optional variables.
We also wish to discuss future perspectives and plans for grant applications to support a potential next phase of the project.

Travel reimbursement
Maximum one person of each registry can be reimbursed to attend the meeting. This to allow, in accordance with the budget of the project, the greatest number of participants from all geographical regions to attend.

Stay
An internal communication was sent individually to on-site attendees. This contains information concerning the stay (location, number of nights included and other relevant items).
