Project: Claire's current research focuses on both intestinal and oesophageal tissue engineering. The intestine project looks at the development of an extracellular matrix hydrogel derived from decellularised intestinal tissue for use in the 3D culture of intestinal organoids and also for a wide range of other intestinal tissue engineering applications. The oesophageal project focuses on the development of a tissue engineered oesophageal replacement for patents with anatomical or functional loss of the oesophagus.
Previously: Claire completed her PhD at GOSICH, 'Design and Development of an Artificial Tracheal Replacement with Clinical Application'
