This is a research-orientated programme for science and medical graduates, and allied health professionals interested in undertaking their first significant research project in the field of child health (Institute-wide).
The first programme of its kind in the UK, the MRes in Child Health provides unique opportunities for students to gain research skills and experience, and to develop transferable academic and professional skills. These include a ‘Research Methodology and Statistics’ taught module before undertaking further 3 optional modules focussed on transferable research or professional skills.
The student will also undertake a research project comprising 2/3 of the total course credits. Projects can be hosted in any of the Institute’s Academic Programmes, and can be either lab or non-lab based.
Project should start by November 2024 and end by August 2025 (or spread over two years for part-time students)
