Nephrology Day for General Paediatricians

22 November 2019, 8:30 am–5:30 pm

22 November 2019 – This course focuses on the up to date management of kidney disease encountered by general paediatricians and paediatricians with an interest in paediatric nephrology. Each year different topics are selected, and presented in both lecture and small group seminar style, with the aim to specifically address both latest developments and practical aspects, giving ample opportunity for interactive discussions.

Who should attend?

The course is for general paediatricians, paediatricians with an interest in nephrology, and general paediatric trainees as well as paediatric nephrology trainees.

What topics will be covered?


  • An update on Urinary Tract infection ( Speaker: Dr KJ Tullus)
  • Management of the sick child with CKD (Speaker: Dr Rukshana Shroff)
  • An update on the management of ADPKD (Speaker: Matko Marlais)
  • Nephrocalcinosis and Nephrolithiasis – a guide to their management (Speaker : Dr W Hayes)

What will you learn by the end of this course?

You will have confidence in managing patients with newly diagnosed or known renal disease, and know when to seek tertiary advice/refer for tertiary care.

    We regret that we are no longer able to invoice NHS Trusts or other organisations. Our on-line booking system will issue an automatic receipt for your card payment so that you can reclaim from your organisation if appropriate.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be received in writing at least two weeks before the start of the event and will be subject to an administration charge of 20% of the course fee. It is regretted that no refunds will be made within two weeks of the course date. 

    ICH Events reserves the right to cancel any conference it deems necessary and will, in such event, make a full refund of the registration fee only. ICH Events will not be liable for any additional incurred costs (including but not limited to travel, accommodation, visa, etc.). No liability is assumed by ICH Events for changes in programme date, content, speakers or venue. 

    Any refunds will be made by us to you within 30 days of your cancellation and be paid to you in the same way as you paid for your order.
