CytoFLEX S

Our CytoFLEX S is fitted with 4 spatially separated lasers: 405nm Violet laser, 488 nm Blue laser, 561 nm Yellow green laser, and 638 nm red laser. 

CytoFLEX S can detect 13 colours simultaneousely (B2-R3-V4-Y4): 2 on the blue laser, 3 on the red laser, 4 on the violet laser, and 4 on the yellow laser.

We have spare optical filters to allow combination of 4 colours specially on the violet laser .

CytoFLEX S is fitted with a 96-well plate loader and sample injection mode control knob, which makes it easy to switch between plate loader sample injection mode and tube sample injection mode.

  • Opening hours: from 07:00 to 23:00 on week days but from 18:30 core hours cease along with most support services. On weekends ZCR is open between 09:00 and 21:00 and on bank holidays the opening hours are 09:00 to 14:00 with limited support services.

Flow Club

  • Flow Club is open to anyone who engages in flow cytometry

  • Flow Club main goal is to support good experimental practice to all users by coming together, solving problems and sharing experiences

  • Sessions include technical talks by facilities' users, tutorials about new technologies and equipment, and invited speakers

  • ​Flow Club runs quaterly

Flow Clinic

  • Flow Clinic are workshops where users are welcome to bring their problem data to troubleshoot and clarify any issue with the help of facility's staff.

  • Flow Clinic runs ad hoc.
