Andrea Sella is latest scientist to express dismay over UK science academy’s refusal to criticise tech billionaire

Prof Andrea Sella, who won the Royal Society Michael Faraday Prize in 2014, has returned his medal and certificate in protest at the Royal Society’s failure to speak in public about the damage that Elon Musk, a Foreign Member of the RS since 2018, has done to US science in his quest for “government efficiency”.
