You can meet current PhDs and PDRAs at our talks and poster session, as well as attend exciting research demonstrations.

Meet our research teams

Get the chance to find out more about the research being undertaken in the department by speaking to current PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. You will also get to hear from PhD students about the application process, as well as find out what studying a research degree is really like.

This event is open to all students who might be interested in pursuing a postgraduate degree in chemistry or a related field. Indeed, much of the research that goes on in our department blurs the lines between biology, chemistry, and physics, so students from all scientific disciplines are welcome!

15:00 - 16:00 | Lab demonstration sessions

16:00 - 16:45 | Postgraduate talk session

16:45 - 18:00 | Poster session with food & drinks

During registration for the event, you will have the opportunity to book lab sessions for both timeslots (15:00 session and 15:30 session) as well as indicate up to 3 members of academic staff (group leaders) that you would be interested in talking to on the day.

Spaces for the lab sessions will be limited, so register as soon as possible!
