The lab dinner was held on Friday 25th November 2011 and was attended by 109 guests.

The pre-dinner lecture was given by Professor David Phillips, C.B.E of Imperial College titled "Prosperity through Chemistry".  

This lab dinner saw a change of venue (Jeremy Bentham Room) which was received well and gave a light, bright feel to the event.  Dr. Michael Johnson's speech was uplifting and funny and all in all, the guests had a great time.

  • Confit Chicken Breast with Mango and Chilli Salsa on Mizuna Leaf
  • Deep Fried Walnut Crusted Goat Cheese on Mixed Radish Salad with a Beetroot Dressing (v)
Main Course
  • Cannon of Beef with Panzanella, Watercress and Straw Potato
  • Pan Fried Wild Mushroom and Kale Gnocchi (v)
    Dessert
    • Stick Toffee Pudding with hot Toffee Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream
