Chemistry Lab Dinner

Every year in November the department runs an evening event for Alumni, Staff and Postgraduate students.

2023 Chemistry Lab Dinner

It is a pleasure to invite you to the annual Thomas Graham Lecture and Chemistry Lab Dinner on the 24 November 2023.

The Thomas Graham Lecture will be presented by Professor Tom Sheppard, this year’s recipient of the 2023 SCI UK Process Chemistry Award.

Tom is a Professor of Organic Chemistry and Head of the Organic Chemistry and Chemical Biology Section. Tom’s research is focused on the development of new methods for organic synthesis. The research projects seek to provide novel solutions to challenging chemical problems, which will facilitate the synthesis of small, highly functionalised organic molecules with potential applications in drug discovery or chemical biology.
