Teng Dong

Teng Dong received his master degree in Chemical Engineering from China University of Petroleum, Beijing. The project during his master’s period was on the oil and gas separation technology in the subsea production system. In 2015 he started his Ph.D. research undertaking the experimental study on the drop coalescence phenomena in liquid/liquid dispersions in the department of chemical engineering in UCL. Superficially, he mainly utilized the optical methods including the high-speed shadowgraph, the Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and the Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) to investigate the mechanism behind the coalescence of single drop at liquid/liquid interfaces with the presence of surfactants.
