UCL Chemical Engineering Celebrates Women in Sustainability Leadership for International Women’s Day

On 3 April 2025, the UCL Department of Chemical Engineering celebrated International Women’s Day by hosting an inspiring event titled "Women as Sustainability Leaders."

Organised by the Department’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team and led by Prof Panagiota Angeli, the event showcased a series of talks and discussions emphasising the vital role women play in advancing sustainability.

An impressive line-up of speakers shared their expertise on various aspects of sustainability - from sustainable materials and energy to responsible business and ethical fashion.
