Dr Loïc Chagot

Loïc is a Post Doc Research Associate (PDRA) specialized in laser-based flow diagnostic in the ThAMes Multiphase group. During his Master’s degree, he received an academic training in topics related to quasi-homogeneous rotating stratified turbulence flows at the Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics Laboratory of Lyon (LMFA). He completed his Ph.D. thesis at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics of Toulouse (IMFT) where he studied the turbulent boundary layers over macro-roughnesses using PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry). His research focuses now on the experimental study of multiphase flows using optical measuring techniques.
