Recording and submitting the required data to ISOSS and CHARS is a mandated contractual obligation under Schedule 6 of their NHS Standard Contract (Specialised Services, Acute), for all Providers delivering services to pregnant women, babies and children who are living with HIV.

All children and young people living with HIV in England who are seen for paediatric HIV care are monitored by CHARS until they transition to adult services. Initial reports are made through the ISOSS paediatric reporting arm with long-term follow-up carried out by CHARS.
Quarterly reports are submitted for each child using the secure online portal. Please use your existing ISOSS account to access the CHARS reporting forms to update case reports.
