ChangeMakers tenth anniversary

We invite the whole UCL community to celebrate and champion student partnership! We have supported over 500 partnership projects and countless other student-staff partnership activities, and guided institutional policy over the years!

We are celebrating!
T

Starting with ten student-led projects in 2014/15, and now supporting on average 50 partnership projects a year that bring together the diverse expertise of students and staff, we want to showcase this work with the community. This academic year 2024/25 marks our tenth birthday!

How do I register?

Please let us know you are coming by filling in this short online registration form.

What can I expect at the event?

Date: Wed 4th June 2025 - Time: 11:30am-2:30pm - Venue: Jeffery Hall (IOE)

The programme is still in development, but we hope that our guests will arrive from 11:30, and then from 12pm we will have a selection of short presentations from current project teams, and ChangeMakers alumni to showcase the impact of partnership work that has been carried out to date. After this, there will be a short workshop style exercise were we will invite teams to describe their projects in a 'Three Minute Thesis' style, and present this to their tables. Then we will invite you to network and chat to each other about your experiences - there will be posters, snacks and cake!

The event will draw to a close by 2pm as the venue will be used for more celebrations later on! The UCL Education Awards kick off at 4pm, so continue the fun and join us there too! Register here if you'd like to attend. Please note this is a separate event to the ChangeMakers celebration.

Who can attend?

  • Anyone can attend from across UCL - if you are a student, academic or professional services member of staff.
  • We particularly welcome project team members who have conducted projects this year to talk about their ongoing work with attendees.
