Annual General Meetings

As required by the club's Constitution, an Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each year, towards the end of the season - traditionally in June.

The meeting is open to all members, but only those members who are 'paid up members' may vote at the meeting.  The general purpose of the AGM is to ensure all members of the club have a say in how it is run.  More specifically, the purpose is as follows:

  • to elect the committee for the new season;
  • to elect other officers with formal duties (i.e. Chair, Secretary, Treasurer) as required;
  • to review the accounts; and
  • to receive and discuss the Secretary's Report.

Reports

The full-year Statement of Account will be uploaded after the end of the financial year, when it has been scrutinised and signed off.
