UCL CORE Shaeda Nourmand

Research Assistant in the Centre for Outcomes Research and Effectiveness.

I have been working as a research assistant on the ODDESSI trial since November 2020. My role is varied and involves the recruitment and interviewing of trial participants, following them up at certain time points over a 2 year period and extracting the data from notes for the primary outcome of the study, which is the relapse and recovery of a participant throughout the trial period. I have worked in mental health research for many years, my last post was at Imperial College on a 5 yr trial looking at the effectiveness of CBT on health anxiety for medical patients. I have also been a community assessor for the met police!
