INSYSTED - Integrated System for European Digital Learning

A strategic partnership of the A4Tech universities funded by the Erasmus+ program that aims to unleash the potential of the integrated use of MOOCs, serious games and learning communities in a blended learning setting with a high grade of modularity to support internationalisation in terms of virtual mobility and international curricula along with developing soft and digital skills.

INSYSTED aims to enhance the quality of education and teaching in the Management and Industrial Engineering a in a European context, through the creation of an innovative, integrated and replicable learning digital and non-digital environment. The project aims to the skills of engineering educators and students in the usage of complex digital learning tools, and support their ability to interact digitally with peers and professionals in the learning community.

The cooperation with industry partners will ensure that the learning outcomes and acquired skills fit the needs of an increasingly complex European labour market. The project also foresees a deeper cooperation at European level in the co-creation of high quality digital contents and tools through a better synergy among academic staff, eLearning services and International Relations Offices.

Are you SERIOUS?

The KA203 Erasmus+ project INSYSTED - Integrated System for European Digital Learning with partners from CentraleSupélec, Politecnico di Milano, Technische Universität Berlin and University College London is going to present the pedagogical framework, the serious game and the learning platform developed in the project for a dynamic blended learning environment in operations and production management at three prestigious events in the upcoming weeks. The event chain starts with a nation-wide competition for students to test their skills in supply chain management and enhance their knowledge through playing the serious game together in Berlin on the 24 June 2022 where around 50 students from various German universities are expected to join in. It will be followed by a workshop organized at the UCL STEM Conference in London, United Kingdom on the 29 June and a further workshop at the annual EURO Conference in Espoo, Finland on the 3-6 July 2022.

INSYSTED pedagogical framework – Instructional booklet

This is the intellectual output 1 of the Erasmus+ INSYSTED project: an inspirational guide to foster soft and digital skills development and internationalisation in higher education through MOOCs, serious games and online learning communities.

You can download this instructional booklet to print it out or to read it on your digital device.

This instructional booklet:

  • provides practical advice on (re)designing university courses and lessons;
  • is for university teachers, especially from industrial and management engineering faculties, but also for non-academic staff supporting them and for anybody interested in education processes.
