UCL CDI Challenges: Data Enabled Healthcare Workshop

The UCL CDI Challenges is a year-long initiative with the aim to identify and better understand real-world, user-driven challenges in the adoption of digital innovations across healthcare and education. Aligned with the UCL Grand Challenges that are part of the UCL Strategic Plan 2022 – 2027, the UCL CDI Challenges aim to facilitate formats for accelerating adoption of UCL innovations into the real world.

Building upon the online working group events held since December 2023, the CDI team and its community will now facilitate a half-day design thinking workshop to bring together academia, industry, entrepreneurs, and end users to discuss these challenges and begin to ideate future solutionising led by workshop participants.

The primary objective of this half-day event format is to create a series of recommendations and activities roadmap for stakeholders to help solve the issues of interoperability and innovation deployment. The interactive workshop will be divided into three parts - the first focused on constructing problem statements, second on governance / data stewardship and the final on 'lightning solutions' - showcasing inspiring ideas on possible innovations that have already been deployed in some form.
