The inability, and sometimes unwillingness, to share and use data (e.g. to combat COVID-19 pandemic) or to protect against the predatory use of data has negatively impacted individuals, private enterprises, research institutions and governments around the globe.
Accelerating the responsible exchange and use of data can solve critical challenges and fuel innovation for society but a lack of trust combined with asymmetric economic interests are slowing down this progress.
This is an immersive, in-person fireside chat with Enzo Fenoglio and Dr. Hirsh Pithadia to explore how developments in smart contracts, privacy enhancing technologies and tokenomics can be used to address some of these challenges and build radically different and fairer data infrastructures of tomorrow.
