Digital Innovation Environment

The UCL CDI is launching the Digital Innovation Environment - a series of digital platforms allowing academics and researchers to explore and test a wide range of digital tools and industry services.

Working with AWS and NVIDIA, the Digital Innovation Environment is designed to help you understand how cloud technologies and enhanced computing can support and accelerate your research. The environment provides a safe and flexible space for hands‑on experimentation and can be used to:

experiment with specific AWS and NVIDIA tools for an upcoming study,
estimate the cost of using cloud services and computing resources in your research workflow, or
simply explore what AWS and NVIDIA offer and how it might benefit your work.

We support structured access for defined 3‑ or 6‑month research projects, as well as more ad‑hoc, exploratory use cases and bespoke competitions and scientific hackathons.
