Sign up to this event to hear from experienced professionals that will help you explore your options.
This event aims to showcase the variety of pathways and options available to UCL students and graduates that want to follow a career in the charity sector as a researcher. The panel discussion will focus on ways to enter the charity field, skills that are essential for a researcher, what the work-life of a researcher looks like, and tips for students that wish to enter research within the charity sector.
There will be a Q&A to the panel along with networking online with the speakers in break-out rooms.
Learning Outcomes (for students):
1. Find out about how each speaker entered the world of research within the charity sector and gain awareness of routes into the field.
2. Find out about skills that are essential as a researcher.
3. Gain tips and advice on what you could do now to help your future career in the field of research.
4. Hear about how each speaker found the recruitment process into the field.
5. Gain a better understanding about the life of a researcher.
