The Engagement & Partnerships Team build relationships with a wide range of employers and organise much of our offering, including our flagship careers fairs.
- Weronika Benning, Business Development Manager
Weronika has overall responsibility for building new and maintaining current relationships with employers and external organisations, and for designing effective strategies across UCL Careers for employer engagement. Weronika has been at UCL Careers since 2013, across a number of roles in events and marketing functions, following graduating from Queen Mary with a degree in English Language and Linguistics.
- Georgina Potts, Events Manager
Georgina manages the Engagement & Partnerships Events team, and is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of student-facing employer and alumni-led events and promotional employer activity on campus, such as careers fairs, the skills programme and content focused on sector insights and diversity and inclusion. Georgina is also the department’s Health & Safety Officer.
Prior to working at UCL Careers, Georgina managed events within higher education, the creative/cultural and broadcast media industries, delivering a variety of events and projects for commercial, fundraising, public engagement and knowledge exchange purposes. Georgina has a degree in Art for Community and Education from Roehampton University.
- Skye Aitken, Marketing Communications Manager
Skye manages the Marketing Communications team and has overall responsibility for student and recent graduate communications for UCL Careers. After graduating from University of the Arts London in 2012 with a degree in visual communication, Skye worked in Marketing & Communication roles in the Arts & Culture sector before moving into Higher Education Marketing & Communication and Student Recruitment specialist roles. Skye also studies part time and is currently working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Practice at the University of Oxford.

- Natalia Mazzini-Cea, Careers & Alumni Partnership Manager
Natalia works to cultivate and engage alumni to support the employability of UCL students and recent graduates. She works closely with both the Careers and Alumni Relations teams to champion the positive impact of alumni in careers development programmes and initiatives.
Natalia has been at UCL since 2010 working across a range of teams, including Employer Engagement within UCL Careers, Organisational Development in HR and Alumni Relations in the Office of the Vice Provost Development.
- Maaria Mahmood, Events Administrator
Maaria co-ordinates the Employer-led Skills programme and online Skills Hub here at UCL Careers. Both of these programmes aim to help students develop useful skills for job searching, recruitment and success in the workplace through activities such as panel discussions, workshops, 1-1 coaching and mock assessment centres.
- Patrick Molloy, Employer Engagement Events Officer
Pat is an Events Officer who manages and delivers our Careers Fairs as well as supporting other core events. Prior to working at UCL Careers, Pat had a variety of jobs at British Telecom over 23 years.
- Aleksandra Terzova, Marketing Communications Assistant
Aleksandra supports the Marketing Communications activity and manages our social media channels. After graduating from the University of Sussex Aleksandra worked in television production before moving into Higher Education.
- Hidy Fu, Global Internships Officer
Hidy runs the Global Internships Programme and works on both the managed opportunities and funding streams of the programme including the UCL Careers-led Turing Grant. Hidy is currently working with UCL Study Abroad team on secondment as the European Programmes Coordinator between 2022-2023 where she manages the Turing Scheme for the institution and the final cycle of Erasmus+ Grant and looks after European placements for students. Hidy also had experience in running the Careers-Arena-led Connected Learning Internship project as the project manager for a brief period in 2020.
Prior to working at UCL Careers, Hidy was Partnership Assistant at the UCL Global Engagement Office. Before she joined UCL, she worked as a translator for Cirque du Soleil and the Hong Kong Fire Services Department for over five years. Hidy has a degree in French & German from UCL and has obtained the APM Project Management Qualification.
- Billy Whitehair, Marketing Communications Officer
Billy supports marketing communications activities to both the UCL Careers team and outwards to students. Prior to starting his role as Marketing Communications Officer at UCL Careers, Billy worked in Business Development in the space industry. Billy has an Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree in International Relations & Politics, and has a postgraduate MRes (Research) degree, with his thesis assessing the role and relevance of space warfare to the wider security complex of the United States.
- Sadia Raees, Internships & Vacancies Administrator
- Sasha St John, Careers & Alumni Partnership Manager
Sasha manages the alumni engagement process within the Careers service. They work across teams in Careers and alongside Alumni Relations, to champion the positive impact of alumni in careers development programmes.
Sasha previously worked at the British Psychological Society delivering a portfolio of doctoral-level programmes in Psychology, engaging stakeholders and alumni in programme management. Prior to this, Sasha worked as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within the NHS delivering low-intensity cognitive-behavioural therapy (LI-CBT).
- Bushra Haanee, Skills Officer
Bushra co-ordinates the employer-led skills programme. The programme is comprised of a number of panel discussions, workshops, 1-1 coaching on interviews or CVs, and mock assessment centres, with a focus on generic employability skills. These interactive sessions help to upskill students and develop their knowledge in different areas.
She graduated with BSc Marketing and Management at Queen Mary University of London. During her final year she worked as an intern in higher education, and this paved the way for her passion in making a difference to students.
- Christopher Cullen, Laidlaw Research and Leadership Programme Manager
Christopher Cullen manages the Laidlaw Programme at UCL, and undertakes the planning and co-ordination of all programme activities. He has worked at UCL since 2012 and his previous role was as a project manager in the Vice-Provost (Education) office.
Before coming to UCL, Christopher worked at King’s College London as an Estates Project Manager. Christopher has a degree in Modern Languages (University of Cambridge), a postgraduate diploma in Building Surveying, and the APMP and Prince2 project management qualifications.
