What to expect
The Jobs Market takes place every summer and is a great a chance to virtually meet and network with employers from a variety of industries who are looking to recruit for jobs and graduate schemes— all with current vacancies / immediate starts.
The date for the 2021 Jobs Market will be released during Term 2.
To prepare for this virtual event you can read through the range of help sheets and resources recommended on our resource library on effective networking and watch our CareersLab episode on Mastering Online Networking on YouTube.
We would also recommend that you do some initial research on the participating organisations you're interested in before you meet them virtually at the Jobs Market.
Participating organisations from the 2020 Jobs Market included:
- Sparta Global
- FDM Group
- Hess International Educational Group
- CAE Pathways
- Creative Access
- Applied Nanodetectors
- Centre for accessible Environments
The full list of employers attending the 2021 Jobs Market will be released closer to the event date.
How will it work?
Those who have booked will be able to view employer profiles and current vacancies all in one place and, during the event hours, be able to access employer live video chats to speak directly to employers as you would at a physical jobs market.
On the day of the Jobs Market, the live chat links will open at the advertised event start time to enable you to start at the employers stand of your choice. You will be able to join/leave employer live video chats freely, without appointments. You will also have access to the UCL Careers stand, where you can ask more about our services and / or come to us with any queries you have.
