Professor Pier Lambiase, Institute of Cardiovascular Science, University College London and Barts Heart Centre (London, UK), presented five-year findings from the EFFORTLESS study at the recent European Heart Rhythm Association congress, showing that Subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (S-ICD) devices have demonstrated a cardioversion efficacy rate of 98%.
