End User's

Welcome to the Capability and Resilience Network website.

The Network welcomes interested people to join its 'user panel'. The research we are doing is relevant to anyone with an interest in how some people 'beat the odds' or bounce back when faced with long or short-term difficulties in life. We all know some people who are 'Resilient' in this way, but in fact not very much is understood about why some are and others are not. Panel members will be notified when relevant meetings take place in the UK, and when interesting articles appear in the scientific literature. Members will also be able to email questions to the Network researchers, about the research itself, or what the research might be telling us about issues in our own lives.
