New PhD Fellow Javier Mendoza-Revilla

We welcome our new PhD fellow, Javier Mendoza-Revilla who recently joined the CANDELA team in the UK. Javier will be working on detecting signals of positive selection on our different populations in the CANDELA sample.

Introducing a CANDELA doctoral fellow

After receiving his MSc in Biology from Universidad de Antioquia, Juan Camilo Chacon-Duque joined the CANDELA team in UK on 2013, where he has been focusing his PhD project on fine scale-scale population structure analysis using novel haplotype-based methods to infer the demographic history of our CANDELA populations.

Mirsha Quinto Thesis Image

A new Doctoral Fellow, Mirsha Quinto Sanchez, has recently joined the CANDELA team in Argentina. Mirsha was awarded with a CONICET grant to develop his PhD research in Rolando Gonzalez-Jose's lab in CENPAT using CANDELA's database.
