Where should I go on the first day?
Your first day of teaching will be on Tuesday 26 September with Dr Adam Paige (Programme Lead for the MSc Cancer course)
- From 10am-12pm you will receive a welcome and be given an introduction to your course. This will take place in room 309 in the Roberts Building.
- From 1pm-4pm you will have a lecture entitled “Overview of basic cancer and genetics concepts” in room G02 Watson LT in the Medawar Building.
On your first day, you will be provided with full details of the core module timetables on that day and will be given instructions about the course and how to find your way around.
In your first week you will be given information about the university support services, social activities and student union. Tutorials throughout your course will help provide skills development and career’s guidance. You will be provided with a personal tutor who will help mentor your development. You will also take part in the Learn London Race – an opportunity during the second week of term to meet with fellow MSc Cancer students and explore London together, culminating in a social event at the Cancer Institute.
