Genome-wide approaches probing gene expression of full transcriptomes and proteomes have been instrumental in shaping our understanding of cell biology in health and disease. In recent years, these approaches have become more quantitative and able to probe genome-wide gene expression of single cells in their tissue context. I will present our experimental and computational work on harnessing and developing these technologies to better understand the dynamics and heterogeneity of cell states as a function of cell growth and reprogramming. I will also discuss our ongoing work on using spatial transcriptomics to study tumour infiltration.

This seminar will be online via Zoom. If you would like to attend, please contact Veronica Dominguez v.dominguez@ucl.ac.uk
