Based on new advances in functional proteomics and genomics, Dr Kentsis will discuss recent discoveries of mechanisms of aberrant gene control in leukemias and somatic genome rearrangements in solid tumors, both of which can be leveraged for new therapeutic strategies for patients, including children and young adults in particular.
This seminar has been sponsored in part by the Biomedical Research Centre and Cancer Research UK.
A light lunch will be served after the seminar.
