In this talk, Dr Woolf will provide an overview of research on how ethnicity can influence achievement in medicine, and will discuss what we can learn from this research about making career progression fairer.

About the Speaker
Dr Katherine Woolf is Associate Professor in Medical Education and Honorary Research Fellow in Psychology at UCL. She is currently an NIHR Career Development Fellow. She uses a variety of methods to understand how social background can influence success in medicine, and to discover how we can improve fairness in medical education.
