The UCL Cancer Institute in the Faculty of Medical Sciences draws together over 400 scientists working together to develop world-class basic and translational cancer research.

We are closely associated with UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. These associations give us greater clinical links than any comparable centre in the UK and have a significant impact on the delivery of clinical service to cancer patients. This concentration of excellence, access to patients and significant cancer treatment and research infrastructure, makes UCL a global leader.

Early Phase Cancer Trials

The Early Phase Cancer Trials Programme brings scientists and clinicians together to deliver ground breaking therapies for the treatment of cancer through clinical trials, with patients being at the heart of its research.

University College London / University College London Hospitals NHS Trust is a major research hub that showcases a vast portfolio of cancer research, collaborating with industry, partners and stakeholders from across the globe.
