At the UCL Cancer Institute, our dedicated researchers and clinical teams work very hard to bring new scientific discoveries and better treatments to the forefront of cancer therapy. A lot of this work is dependant on public funds from funding organisations such as Cancer Research UK, as well as access to patient samples. We are deeply thankful for the patients and their families for their support in early phase clinical trials and donating tissue to research. Therefore, we endeavour to build a culture within the cancer institute to nuture and support interests and ideas in promoting our science to the public.
