Disruptive Thinking: Paving the way for pioneers

Thinking disruptively has been the status quo for UCL since 1826. Campaign supporters make our brave and progressive approach possible, raising £114 million to keep us pushing the frontiers of new disciplines, new knowledge, and new ways of relating to the world we live in.

Our supporters are backing our bold ideas, providing their expertise, and giving us the freedom to turn these ideas into impact. They give us the fuel to keep pace with progress and our ambition and approach things differently; from powering radical new ways of thinking about economics and society at the Institute of Innovation and Public Purpose, to nurturing UCL’s AI ecosystem through funding barrier-breaking scholarships, research posts, and teaching initiatives. And from redesigning prosperity for the 21st century at the Institute for Global Prosperity, to providing a dedicated forum for research, debate and dialogue across any kind of boundary, intellectual or institutional at the Institute of Advanced Studies.

UCL people are agents of change, encouraged to challenge, question and explore; to work together in untested ways, and to trial new approaches. It's All Academic is shaping UCL’s academic community to be as diverse and rich in talent as the global city it calls home, raising over £42 million to fund and support UCL staff.
