Catch up on UCL Connect Professional Development autumn series

Designed exclusively for UCL alumni, UCL Connect is a series of professional development event combining award-winning events, free online mentoring, CPD courses and more. This autumn, alumni attended a diverse range of UCL Connect events that focused on navigating a career within new and evolving modern industries.
Most recently, at the sold-out Building your Professional Network event, UCL alumna and leadership coach, Nicole Brigandi, led over 100 alumni through an interactive workshop. Nicole shared 10 key tips for improving your personal brand, building your network, and establishing long-lasting relationships. Alumni also took part in two industry-specific Q&A panel events – Teachmeet: Innovators in Primary Education and Engineering the future: Careers in the 21st Century.
At the UCL Institute of Education event, teachers and education professionals shared how they implement new ideas, work with innovative technology and enthuse learners in the classroom.
At the event in partnership with UCL Engineering, alumni learned from an expert panel about their experiences in research, traditional and entrepreneurial engineering careers, and gained advice in navigating this demanding modern environment. See below some images from the event.
