British Sign Language: A beginner's guide

In 1988, in collaboration with the British Deaf Association (BDA) and the Council for Communication with Deaf People (CACDP), the BBC ran a 15-part series for learners of BSL. This was immensely successful and resulted in thousands of people obtaining qualifications in BSL every year since then. The book was written by Dorothy (Dot) Miles.
