Bespoke designs

For instance, when a designer is creating bespoke items like a report, pull‑up banner, booklet, postcard or bookmark.

Paid advertising

You can include logo lockups in paid advertising assets such as video, social media or display ads.

Where logo lockups can't be used

Alongside our main logo or the UCL200 logo

Using more than one logo quickly looks like "logo soup". If multiple UCL entities are involved in a project, use the main UCL logo and write out the name of each entity in text.

Email signatures

Our email signature template includes an embedded UCL200 logo. Do not replace it with our main logo or a logo lockup.

Eventbrite banners

No logos should be used. Use our brand colours or brand photography instead, making sure the design poses no accessibility or compliance issues.

Web pages

Our new-look website already includes our logo and visual identity. Additional logos on pages look untidy and risk brand overkill.
