Information for Patient Identification Centres

How to refer participants to the TACT pilot trial

For a general overview of the trial, please read the Clinician information sheet.

We are recruiting from the following NHS Trusts in London:

  • Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Foundation Trust
  • Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust
  • Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust
  • East London NHS Foundation Trust

If your Trust is participating in this trial, you can refer participants who meet the following criteria:

  1. 55 years of age or older
  2. Mild cognitive impairment
  3. Does not currently wear hearing aids (or wears hearing aids inconsistently)
  4. Sufficient English

If the participant meets these criteria, and they are interested in hearing more about the trial, you can:

  1. Give them a Participant information sheet. 
  2. Ask their permission to pass on their contact details to the research team.
  3. Tell them a member of the research team will be in contact with them over the following week to see if they would like to take part.
