Aims
RADAR's primary aims are to:
- Test the effects of reducing and discontinuing antipsychotic medication in people with long-term schizophrenia and similar conditions
- Record and evaluate how structured reduction and discontinuation affects the chances of having a relapse
and also to:
- Develop the best methods for reducing and discontinuing antipsychotics, in consultation with experts, service users and carers with relevant experience.
- Develop new criteria and methods for judging relapse in psychotic disorders
