On 12th July 2026, Professor Mike Hanna will lead the CNMD’s team of over 30 colleagues in running The Saucony London British 10k run in central London, to raise funds for the Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases. This is our 17th consecutive year participating in the event, and we are very proud of the fact that, over the years, our supporters have helped to raise over £140,000 for the Centre.
Our goal for 2026 is to raise £10,000 for The National Brain Appeal to support training at The Queen Square Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases.
If you would like to support the Team, it’s not too late to help us reach our target - please visit our ‘’Just Giving’’ page:

We do hope you can help us to achieve that goal: any donation, no matter how small, will be gratefully received and will help make a very real difference. It is thanks to the generosity of individuals, grant-making trusts and companies, that the research projects and improvements in treatment at the CNMD have been made possible. Without this incredible support, many advances simply would not have happened.
