The senior promotions process takes place each year and considers promotion to Associate Professor and Professorial level across the academic pathways. This year there were seven colleagues promoted at our institute.
They are:

- Dr Alice Davidson, Professor of Molecular Genetics
- Ms Rashmi Mathew, Professor (Teaching)
- Dr Anthony Robson, Professor of Visual Electrophysiology
- Dr Amanda-Jayne Carr, Associate Professor
- Mr Praveen Patel, Associate Professor
