The UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Away Day and Celebration Event held on 16th July 2024 reviewed and celebrated our equality, diversity and inclusion work and achievements, and recognised our colleagues and students who champion and embody equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and beyond.

Prof Helene Plun-Favreau (Deputy EDI Director) gave a welcome and introduction, followed by a presentation by Dimitris Zachos (EDI Project Manager) on "The road so far" highlighting the work of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and thanking everyone at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology who engages with and contributes to EDI.

Prof Helene Plun-Favreau then announced the winners of the IoN Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Awards. The winners were chosen by an independent panel external to the IoN, ensuring a fair and unbiased selection process.
